Tonight I had to run to Walmart and decided to get Avery a potty. She is only 19 months and most people, including Mrs. Tina (babysitter), wait until they're 2 years old to start. But I figured, what can it hurt? I put together the pink Comfy Cushy 3-in-1 potty when we got home and sat Avery on it. I started to read her a book so that she would sit for a minute, since these days she likes to be on the go. As soon as I finished the first book, she tee-teed in the potty! I was so proud! (lol, tmi, i know!) I promise to spare you potty pictures, but for this momentous occasion, I couldn't resist!

Yay for Avery!!! Goodness at the chocolate!
Yeah for potty training. You will be amazed at how fast she will probably pick it up. We started about a month ago. She has been in her new class for almost 3 weeks and has stayed dry pretty much the whole day for the last week. It's awesome!! Good luck! (BTW. Potty pics are great!)
Hadley's been doing well on the peepee part for a while now....we are just having some difficulties on her remembering to poopoo on the potty...and as of today she has not worn any pullups AT ALL for over a week, and has had no accidents, save one poopoo incident sunday morning!!!! i brought her some pizza at daycare today as a reward. she was so happy!
She is so smart. I am sure she will learn this quickly too! Good luck.
Makes me think of the commercials "What would you do for a Klondike bar?" LOVE the chocolate face and SMILE! I smile when I eat chocolate, too, Avery!
Hey I think its great to go ahead and start potty training. Ava started at 18 months old and she is doing great with it. She stays in the same pull-up just about all day and on the weekends I will let her wear panties. Way to go Avery!
