I've Been Tagged

I've been tagged for a little game. You're supposed to pick your 4th folder, 4th picture. Of course, its Avery! She looks to be having the time of her life with a biter biscuit - always remember - biter biscuit=bathtime!

I'm tagging Nicki, Dewana, Denise & MckMama (yeah right, she is way to famous for this silly game - hehe!)

Completely changing subjects, without any sort of interesting segue...today at work a man asked me if I had been at church Sunday to hear the guest speaker. I said, "Oh we don't go to church right now, because Avery can't be around large crowds." He says, "Really??? Why???" I said, "Because she was such a small preemie (which he already knew) and she's..." I stopped myself because #1 - I was in a huge rush and didn't have time to talk and #2 - He was looking at me with crazy eyes. So I stopped mid-sentence and simply admitted "Because I'm a germ crazed psycho, thats why" and rushed off to finish what I was doing. lol. I guess the first step to solving your problem is to admit you have one, right!

Our pedi said that a church nursery has more germs than a 3rd world country. So that's the one specific place we're avoiding until April.
Also, we got the little inflatable tub at Babies R Us.

Shower is this Saturday...I can't wait! I'm working until the day I have her! Unlike most other banks, Progressive doesn't offer maternity leave, so once I'm off I don't get paid...needless to say I will going back to work as soon as possible too! Call me one day and we can go eat...right now a girl I work with (who just found out she was pregnant) and I are going to eat chinese food at least once a week at the restaurant near copelands for lunch! You will have to go with us one day if you like chinese! What time do you normally go to lunch?

Hi, Casey,

I just wanted to say Hi and thank you for your comment on my blog tonight. Avery was the same size Owen was when he was born in Russia at 27 weeks! I am so sorry you lost your first baby at 20 weeks. I can only imagine the pain of losing a baby that far along. My belly already starts to look pregnant by 8 weeks now that I've been pregnant so many times. The heartache of having a 20 week baby in my belly, I can only imagine. What a beautiful gift Avery is. She is absolutely precious. Thank you for sharing the name of the book The Shack with me. I have not read it but will look for it. Thank you also for praying for us, that someday we will hold a newborn baby of our own, however he or she may come to us.
